In a time of fear & threats, Seattle’s incoming Police Chief Shon Barnes just reminded us what real courage looks like. A Marine, a leader, & a defender of the Constitution—he stood up for our right to protest and pledged to keep his city safe, not silent.

He was terrific here too.

We had a school shooting and I loved the way he handled everything. He is a former teacher.
