For your signs tomorrow - The Date
Remember in 2017/2018 when you saw protests and righteous hell raising at the former GOP Town Halls re the ACA and child separation protests?
We put dates on our signs. In a text group chat reminiscing about those days, getting on the Maddow show coverage of Leonard Lance town halls (outside - I was never allowed in because of my relentless abuse - but I digress) . . . somewhere on your sign WRITE the date.
Someone sent a picture of one with me and Malinowski and Sen Menendez from NN.com. My sign is on the ground but you can see the date in big red marker.
That wasn't my genius move. My mom suggested our Indivisible group do it because she was observing fake footage of protests. It had started with the Felon's YUUUUUGE crowd nonsense.
Today is the 1 year anniversary of her burial. She was a smart brave woman. Her parents took her to the March on Washington and that started her involvement in the antiwar and CR Movement. She would bedismissed as a Boomer these days - but she was an expert in resistance and defiance.
That picture of me is in the historical record, floating around on websites, floating around the Cloud.
Put your signs and your presence in the historical record. Don't let the propagandists use it for anything other than defiance of the Dictator.
