Look at this totally unnecessary monstrosity messing up the WH lawn.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/donald-trump-white-house-ballroom-renderings-construction-details/?ftag=CNM-00-10aac3a

Can you imagine how many hungry people could be fed or how many homeless people could have living quarters built? What a waste of tax dollars. I think he is making sure no one can ever plant a garden there to provide food for DC food pantries again and the Easter egg rolls are a thing of the past too.

As with all of the "gold" shit in the Oval Office, it's gold Rust-o-leum. Gold has gone up because the "Buy Gold!" crowd has been pushing it it non-stop as insurance against inflation. That has created a supply-and-demand situation, which has driven the price higher.

85% chance we get a giant Gold Trump sign in 40 foot high letters on the front of the White House soon. Complete with twinkling lights.

...corporate and individual donors have pledged nearly $200 million to cover construction costs, and fundraising is ongoing.
Google,
R.J. Reynolds,
Booz Allen Hamilton,
Lockheed Martin,
Palantir and
NextEra Energy have donated, sources told CBS News, and so have firms in the tech, manufacturing, banking and health industries.

Guilded Age Corporatocracy = Fascism

As tens of millions of Americans lose their health care, they need to remember who built this.

Really tacky. This should not be approved it is way too big and doesn’t fit with the rest of the historic White House. This will be hard to undue unfortunately.

That's if the construction actually gets completed. At the rate Trump is deteriorating, he'll be gone before that happens, one can only hope. It looks like flimsy shit. The first big snowfall, and the roof caves in.

Oh, and one more sign that Ukrainians know their shit.

I would order that everything he touched be taken down, thrown in the trash, or demolished,so the White House and Washington DC look as if he were never there. I want no trace of him left behind at all.

I refuse to look and I won't be visiting D.C. again, if ever, as I am now elderly. I truly will hate leaving this earth with America in his clutches so I hope to live long enough to see his ass get thrown out of it and the WH restored to its former self.

It is a temporary dwelling that belongs to the American people. It is not his to destroy at will. Will no one ever stand up and stop this evisceration of OUR White House and our democracy?

God, I am stunned by the unbridled control he has over every damn thing!
