why would anyone BE in Oklahoma? This isn't anything new. It's been like this for decades. OK is in this weird competition with TX. "We're smaller, less well known, and less rich.....but we're even more psychotic than those guys!!"

in the nation. Now, after enlightened Republican administrations, it is literally dead last. Why? Because right wing religious freaks know that if they can keep their children ignorant, they can spoon feed them their ridiculous christo-fascist religious nonsense. Once they are indoctrinated, very few will ever learn to question and think for themselves. That is the last thing they want. Those children will grow up to be perfect worker bees for the wealthy to exploit. Plain and simple it is child abuse.

One further note as per the 2025 NEA report: Idaho ($9,942), Utah ($11,289), and Oklahoma ($11,311) had the lowest per-student expenditures (in the nation). You get what you pay for. At least OK had sufficient funding to buy Trump bibles.

He joined the "Teacher Freedom Alliance"

Here's their announcement of him...

Big News: Ryan Walters is the Incoming CEO of Teacher Freedom Alliance!

Teacher Freedom Alliance is entering a bold new era of leadership with Ryan Walters at the helm.

Walters fearlessly fights the woke liberal union mob. TFA will take the fight straight to the unions and we will not stop.

Together, we will build a national movement that is centered on freedom and common sense, not on bullying and intimidation. Educators will now be able to break free.

Stand with us now. We will fight for your conservative values. We will never compromise. We will restore your freedom.
