US attorney disqualified from multiple cases in Nevada

A Trump-appointed U.S. attorney for Nevada was disqualified from four criminal cases by a federal judge Tuesday after not being officially nominated for confirmation by the Senate.
Sigal Chattah, who served as the acting U.S. attorney for Nevada, was directed to relinquish control over prosecutions by U.S. District Judge David G. Campbell.
Campbell said Chattah, the former Nevada chair for the Republican National Committee, had been working under an acting title for more than the allowable 120 days and noted that “her involvement in these cases would be unlawful,” according to Reuters.
Campbell has requested government attorneys confirm within seven days that Chattah is not directing their work on the four criminal cases she’s been disqualified from overseeing ...
