Hold the Line - Don't Give in on the GOP Budget!
Democrats, this is one of those moments where we’ve got to stand firm. The Republican budget resolution is nothing more than an attack on working people, healthcare, and every hard-won protection. Their plan is austerity for regular folks and handouts for billionaires.
If Democrats even think about giving this garbage bipartisan cover, they’ll be helping the GOP dismantle healthcare, shred safety nets, and funnel resources away from the people who need them most. We can’t afford to play “reasonable compromiser” when the other side is openly trying to dismantle Medicare, Medicaid, the ACA, and basic protections for our communities.
Our job is to draw a line in the sand: NO to cuts, NO to gutting healthcare, NO to a Republican budget built on cruelty.
This isn’t about obstruction for obstruction’s sake. It’s about defending what matters: healthcare, education, Social Security, climate action, and the right for people to live with dignity. We’ve got to show the GOP that Democrats won’t be bullied into rubber-stamping their agenda.
