Panicked Curtis Yarvin--JD Vance guru--Plans to Flee USA (He sees the entire Trump experiment in fascism as failing)

Last edited Tue Oct 7, 2025, 08:36 PM - Edit history (1)

Take this as good news. The rats are looking to jump ship. Head "philosopher rat" first.

https://www.thenerdreich.com/panicked-curtis-yarvin-jd-vance-guru-plans-to-flee-usa/

Why this is important, in a nutshell.

Yarvin is in effect, the "shaman" to the Thiel/Musk/Vance troika planning to take over when Trumpty Dumpty falls off a wall. (some irony there) If he's looking to flee, perhaps he feels that the entire "shit of state" is headed for the bottom, to be replaced by a Democratic administration.

The philosophy behind this "rip everything out and replace it" is shown in the links at the bottom of this post.

Immigrants Thiel and Musk eat this up. In short,

Getting rid of the whole legal system is easier than getting rid of all the judges. Getting rid of the whole machine of government is easier than getting rid of the whole legal system. Getting rid of the whole philosophy of government is easier than getting rid of the whole machine of government.
Nothing less than a full-on destruction of the United States can sate his thirst for power.

Some Good News: Curtis Yarvin, the anti-American “Dark Enlightenment” guru credited as “the philosopher behind JD Vance,” believes the Trump administration is doomed to fail.

Fearing retribution from a future Democratic administration, a terrified Yarvin declared on October 5 that he is already planning to flee the country.

Wrote Yarvin on Substack:
The second Trump revolution, like the first, is failing. It is failing because it deserves to fail. It is failing because it spends all its time patting itself on the back. It is failing because its true mission, which neither it nor (still less) its supporters understand, is still as far beyond its reach as algebra is beyond a cat. Because the vengeance meted out after its failure will dwarf the vengeance after 2020—because the successes of the second revolution are so much greater than the first—I feel that I personally have to start thinking realistically about how to flee the country. Everyone else in a similar position should have a 2029 plan as well. And it is not even clear that it will wait until 2029: losing the Congress will instantly put the administration on the defensive.

DO IT, FOLKS. Throw out the entire "Guardians of Pedophiles" GOP.

The Point: In 2022, one of Peter Thiel's favorite thinkers envisioned a second Trump Administration in which the federal government would be run by a “CEO” who was not Trump and laid out a playbook for how it might work. Elon Musk is following it.

The Back Story: In 2012, Curtis Yarvin — Peter Thiel’s “house philosopher”—called for something he dubbed RAGE: Retire All Government Employees. The idea: Take over the United States government and gut the federal bureaucracy. Then, replace civil servants with political loyalists who would answer to a CEO-type leader Yarvin likened to a dictator.

“If Americans want to change their government, they’re going to have to get over their dictator phobia,” he said. Yarvin, a software programmer, framed this as a “reboot” of government.

Elon Musk’s DOGE is just a rebranded version of RAGE. He demands mass resignations, locks career employees out of their offices, threatens to delete entire departments, and seizes total control of sensitive government systems and programs. DOGE = RAGE, masked in the bland language of “efficiency.”

. . .
“Unhumans,” an anti-democratic screed that Posobiec co-wrote with the professional ghostwriter Joshua Lisec, comes with endorsements from some of the most influential people in Republican politics, including, most significantly, vice-presidential candidate JD Vance.

As they tell it, modern progressivism is just the latest incarnation of an ancient evil dating back to the late Roman Republic and continuing through the French Revolution and Communism to today. Often, they write, “great men of means” are required to crush this scourge. The contempt for democracy in “Unhumans” is not subtle. “Our study of history has brought us to this conclusion: Democracy has never worked to protect innocents from the unhumans,” write Posobiec and Lisec.

One of their book’s heroes is the Spanish dictator Francisco Franco, who overthrew the democratic Second Spanish Republic in the country’s 1930s civil war. The authors call him a “great man of history” and compare him to George Washington. They quote him on what doesn’t work against the unhuman threat: “We do not believe in government through the voting booth. The Spanish national will was never freely expressed through the ballot box.”

Nakedly authoritarian ideas like this one are not uncommon in the dank corners of the reactionary internet, or among the sort of groups that led the Jan. 6 insurrection. “Unhumans” lauds Augusto Pinochet, leader of the Chilean military junta who led a coup against Salvador Allende’s elected government in 1973, ushering in a reign of torture and repression that involved tossing political enemies from helicopters.

Pinochet-inspired helicopter memes have been common in the MAGA movement for years. And as the historian David Austin Walsh wrote last year, there’s long been a cult of Franco on the right. Nevertheless, it’s extremely unusual for a candidate for vice president of the United States to openly align himself with autocratic terror.
. . .

-----------------------------------
Back in early Aug 2024, I wrote, "I am mystified that the title of this book and the author isn't being spread as far and wide as the danger of project 2025. Unhumans goes so much farther down the dystopian authoritarian path."

By blurbing this book, Vance, Carlson, and Don Jr. are endorsing the glorification of the reign of murdering facists like Franco and Pinochet nd endorsing a vision of DT/Vance leading a similar purge.

When I first posted on this at the beginning of August 2024, I got 4 recs. I was frankly a bit shocked that the response seemed to be a bit of a "nothing new to see here."

Back then, we were less than three weeks into the nascent Harris campaign. The focus was rightly on hope and joy. And I agreed that focusing on positive change -- and particularly instilling hope that transformative change IS possible -- was crucial. But I also said we CANNOT ignore the implication of this book and how utterly horrifying the premise and "solutions" offered are.

The Trump regime is playing the Unhumans playbook of branding anyone who is against them as Subhuman entities (the enemy within) that must be utterly destroyed by whatever means he deems necessary, far more effectively than the Christian Nationalist 2025 agenda.

It's been a rough couple decades.

I think the horrors of today could ultimately lead to a more enduring level of participation by ordinary people for decades to come. For too long, we've allowed political advocacy to be professionalized -- something that ordinary people only served as ATM's for. I think that is changing. People are getting creative and finding ways to connect with others in their own communities. Folks are pestering their electeds in numbers we haven't seen for a long, long, time.

I think countless people doing their bits across this nation is slowly turning the tide. And the numbers are growing.

It's not the only measure, but the Oct 18 No Kings is already exceeding the number of events that were hosted for No Kings in June (which exceeded Hands Off in April by something like 50%).

It's early days, but I think the signs are positive for the opposition.

And even if they weren't, I'd still be looking for reasons to hope and things to promote. Hope is as much the life's blood of resistance as lies are for authoritarians.

I notice the "Citizens Divided" effect of making politics a money war, and also "personality" and "identity" politics. People just lose sight of "what works" --- and antisocial media are a curse. Section 230 gives free reign to everything. But not everything? Yes, everything. It all gets through in sufficient quantities, like a toxin. A little goes a long way.

ONE possible good outcome is that thanks to all the destruction, there is opportunity to reinvent many things in a POSITIVE way.

We have led the leaders. (though not all of them) but it's the first step.

I post emails that I get from Indivisible and from Bernie Sanders for the benefit of all here. I stick them in Activist Headquarters and The Way Forward, where they're easier to find, but also in GD for visibility, however short that lasts and how buried it might be in search.

Three Wins Today: Oct 6, 2025
This moment will be less than a paragraph in the history books if we do this right.
Ariella Elm
Oct 06, 2025

Change is slow.

I know, you don’t want to hear it, but that’s reality.

A lot of people are waiting for that thing that happens that literally snaps us back to Jan 19, 2025.

That thing doesn’t exist. That thing can’t exist. There is no amount of resisting that will lead to an instantaneous turning point. That’s just not reality, that’s a superhero movie.

But each action adds up.

Consider the Montgomery Bus Boycott. We think about the actual boycott as the bulk of the work. It started Dec 1, 1955 and lasted 13 months.

But that was just the event that got attention, not the work leading up to it. It started when a group of Black women got together to form the Women’s Political Council of Montgomery in 1946, and the idea for the boycott itself was born in 1953.

They had to figure out every little detail to make it successful. How can you get around without taking the bus? Who do they need to meet with to lay out their demands? What do you say are the demands? How do you get every Black person in Montgomery to follow the requirements for a successful boycott?

It was a process. And each little piece was instrumental in creating the final boycott.

I use the Boycott because so many people look at it and see a very successful thing without any of the background and truly think it just happened.

I created a really poignant quote today:

Every little win gives us the tools we need for history to look back and think we stopped this overnight

We WANT history to look back on this period and see a turning point and decide it happened out of thin air, but in the moment that couldn’t be less what needs to happen.

Every protest, yes, even the ones where people are just holding up signs on the sidewalk is a piece of the process.

Every single second we resist, we are creating the environment for that big event that brings about the end of this regime, and the pervasiveness of the MAGA ideology as a whole.

But it’s not December 1, 1955. It’s more like 1950. The boycott is maybe an idea that’s been thrown around a few times, but the focus is on brainstorming “what can we do to overhaul the Montgomery bus system?”

We are brainstorming, we are trying things and seeing what works, and we are succeeding time and time again.

But it’s going to be a while of this before we hit on that event that is in the history books in 50 years. This part might be a paragraph in a book exclusively about that event. And it’s the most important paragraph of that entire book.

So we MUST keep fighting every single day. Apathy now will ensure that book never exists cause we won’t succeed.

Use the power of one, figure out where you fit in and make sure to amplify everyone who already has.

Every single of one us has the power to change the world.

I hope you find joy in today’s wins. All three of them are inching us one step closer to taking back this country, and the world.

I was thinking of a big, orchestrated breakdown, so as to claim martial law, or a giant constitutional crisis in which people simply stand up to the unconstitutional bullshit when even the "Supreme Food Court" won't.

https://www.democraticunderground.com/100220295160

rather than a civil war.

Of course, always hoping that the forces of darkness take each other out. They are divisive and belligerent, and "hate is blind" when one is slighted by anyone. Just like their dear leader, but they don't even see that. There's nobody he won't betray, starting with his wife?

Then again, a big Epstein disclosure, however it comes, could break the entire worldwide extortion scheme, which some say Trump is running, since he "inherited" it from his conveniently dead pal.

Jeffrey always had an "out". IF he killed himself, he must have seen that he'd be sacrificed anyway as part of "business continuation"

Hope only for "justice" in the best sense of that word.

Share any insights, even if we can only speculate, or as science-fiction writers do, simply extrapolate from known facts, discoveries, inventions and trends.
