I'm getting 40+ unwanted donation requests a day on my phone

I'm considering suing my phone company for being complicit in the harrassment and destruction of the quiet enjoyment of my home.
The Dems I have donated to are the real source of the problem, shopping my contact around without my permission, and no way to opt out.

I OPT OUT! NOW!

Every campaign in the country is not who I care to interact with.

I refuse to change MY phone number. I DEMAND a stop to this harrassment.

1. iOS filtering on texts

The latest release of iOS divides txt messages into known and unknown buckets. Enable known senders to filter messages, of course sometimes you want to see the occasional unknown message which forces the unpleasantness of digging through them.

I appreciate how Act Blue helps DEMs fundraise, but I closed my account due to the fact that they share our contact INFO with EVERYONE who puts a D behind their name and slips them some coin. Going to switch to snail mail checks to candidates I can afford to donate to. Annoying and less convenient, but as you say, it is constant harassment otherwise.

DEM campaigns need to put pressure on ACT BLUE to change their operations so people don't get flooded. Everyone I know has stopped donating because of the flood of texts that follow. That is NOT how we win.

4. I only donate by mail...

I get bunches of e-mails these days since Kamala's campaign found me, but I can block/unsubscribe/delete those as desired. Will not respond to emails, texts or phone calls. Yes, I get tons of begging letters from about every candidate running, but I can deep-six those if I don't want to donate to them. (I'd LOVE to donate to lots of them, but I'm not made of money.) On the forms on the back where they ask for phone and email, I just put "On file," and I get nothing. But I understand your gripe--it's totally reasonable to not want to be overwhelmed by the begging.

And be glad that someone is trying to stop Trump. They even leave love sonnets.

for aiding and abetting donations to his enemies. ActBlue sent out a lengthy text several days ago seeking - of course - funds to counter trump's efforts. If trump wields his powers and manages to at least curtail ActBlue, we might not have to be concerned about what ActBlue does with our info because they may no longer exist. I trusted and used them, but get annoyed also by my info being shopped out to every D out there looking for funds. The last few donations I've made have been by check because I don't trust having my credit card info up for grabs either.

It really is beyond ridiculous.

Can’t donate even if I really want to, so I delete them. Should unsubscribe, but haven’t felt like going through them yet.

They now know it is a live address. The next email or text harassment just comes from a supposedly different source.
And it takes 7 keystrokes to respond stop. Only two to report junk.
