Eugene “Gene” Curran Kelly (1912-1996) was a well known dancer, actor, and film executive. This release of the main FBI file on Kelly spans the years 1947 through 1975; the active part of the investigation spanned the years 1947 to 1951. The investigation concerned Kelly’s ties to various left-wing groups.

He raved about Gene Kelly's dancing. But I guess this video is the first dance video of his I've seen other than his Dancing in the Rain scene. I loved Fred Astaire myself – but had I seen this, who knows?

I'm sure my dad also loved that Gene Kelly was a left-winger. Dad was a socialist until he passed – but he only felt free to say so in his last years.

All the good guys were, and are, antifa.
