"When in Rome, do as the Romans do."
I think it is fair to say that we have not seen so much corruption in Washington ever in our lifetimes. Everyone seems to be on the grift? One family has taken over our government as their own personal piggy bank. The Congress does nothing.
To fight corruption, we need an anti-corruption leader.
I could imagine someone like Jack Smith, the former Special Prosecutor, as someone who would fit that bill. He would know where all the bodies are buried and he would have the authority to go after them.
Mr Smith has done an interview with Andrew Weisman, which has been shown on MSNBC. Nobody has mentioned him running for the White House. But in my opinion, he should be mentioned. We need Elliott Ness to clean up the mess.

(114,818 posts)His hands were tied, to a large extent, by Merrick Garland and the Supreme Court, in my opinion. Perhaps he is just showing his face because he thinks Trump is coming after him?

(76,542 posts)He had plenty of cause to file a complaint with Cannon's superiors.
Who had ruled against her before. Cannon was blocking Smith and justice
over and over.
The legal pundits on MSNBC were dumbfounded and mystified why Smith
would not file against Cannon.
There are only so many reasons why he would do this.
And none of them good.
I didn't see his courage.
I saw him doing another Merrick Garland.
