Pete Buttigieg to join Abigail Spanberger at Charlottesville 'Get Out The Vote' event
Former Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg, who served as President Joe Biden’s Secretary of Transportation, will join the party’s Virginia gubernatorial nominee, Abigail Spanberger, at a “Get Out The Vote” rally in Charlottesville on Tuesday night.
Buttigieg shared a news article about the rally on social media, posting on X – formerly Twitter – that he was “looking forward to hitting the campaign trail next week with my friend (and) Virginia’s next governor.”
