a long time ago when it still cost only $10 for geezers and lasts until we go to the great beyond. The photo on mine is a desert scene with a blooming desert plant of some kind and I don’t recall being given a choice. Just pay the $10 and get the next card in the stack. Easy peasy.

20. Mine is still in pretty pristine condition.

Likewise my spouse’s card. Not from lack of use. Mostly used at Gulf Islands National Seashore for camping and beach time. It is a treasured privilege that we take pride in using. We should do everything we can to protect our parks, seashores and forests. Let no one take these special places away from us. And keep making these passes accessible to the citizens of our nation. It is a wonderful benefit of our citizenship.
