I know most of the thoughts on this. Without a 2/3 majority in the Senate, Dems can't convict and remove Trump. But an impeachment in the House would mean he'd go down in history as the only president to be impeached THREE times, it would drive him CRAZY, it would dominate the news cycle...and, of course, all of that could cause him to do something REALLY desperate, which is not a "positive," but...I don't think we can let him spend 3 unchallenged years driving America off the cliff. Yesterday served as proof of that. We don't need more innocent American citizens being shot in the face on our city streets.(CNN's Kaitlan) Collins asked Pence if he thought Democrats would impeach Trump if they retake the House of Representatives after the 2026 midterm.
