Trumps tariffs on the 8 countries amounts to BLACKMAIL. I have yet to hear that descriiption from anyone. No American or European politicians and not from the press. Its about time someone brings up the obvious fact.

Who would be first to make a big buy and self-trigger a financial loss?
Only the late buyers would be getting a bargain.
The US government isn't making any money from bonds. They already have the money.
I don't think that threat, while theoretically accurate, will be as straightforward in execution.
