Wow, a lot of Iran's senior military leadership are dead...

Iran’s defense minister and Revolutionary Guard commander killed, says Israel

Israel’s military has named some of the top members of Iran’s leadership it says were killed in its first round of Saturday strikes on Iran. Neither Iran nor the U.S. commented on or confirmed the claims.

Israel said the strikes killed Mohammad Pakpour, the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps and Iran's Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh.

The military also said its strikes took out Ali Shamkhani, the secretary of the Iranian Security Council and a close adviser to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, and Mohammad Shirazi, the head of Khamenei’s military bureau.

In a day or so it will be clearer as to the who and what. Less clear as to what’s next.

According to what I read in the past few weeks Khameni named his son as his successor should he be killed. Where he is and whether or not he was also targeted, who knows?

Plus, he's probably pissed off that drumpf just killed his father. Our bloodthirsty "leader" probably has a long hit list.

If there is a popular uprising then it could be one of the people. Could also end up being the military if one of them wants the job, though that seems unlikely to me at least. Perhaps a cleric from the Guardian Council?

I'd imagine the next week of pounding will be aimed at killing enough volume of regime members, such that enough citizens can rise up in sufficient numbers and force, to intimidate the remaining regime to crumble and run away.

I'd bet we have guys on the ground advising Iranians in groups to go here, hop in this car and go there, open the trunk, tune to this frequency, plug your ears and seek cover and wait for the all clear,, etc...

Probably depends mainly on how far down the line the leadership is killed, and whether or not bombs start popping off in European and US tourist spots in the next few days, or the internet goes down, or another group wants a swing at us, or worse...

I wonder if that's going on in Iran as well? If not, some version of it, surely.
