2. "They" didn't build them. They paid slave wages to poor people from SE Asia and India. Brought them in in crowded ships

trucks and trains. Shipped them out the same, if they lived. It was notoriously insane abuse of human rights that to this day stays as well hidden as the many human rights abuses in China. The workers weren't allowed to comingle amongst the population. They lived in squalor in work camps. Many went back poorer than when they started. Many not paid by the human traffickers the elite paid to bring them and work them to death. These Arab monarchies continue this practice to this day. Fuck 'em if the whole fucking place blew up.

Anyone who believes democracy is possible in this region is foolish. These Monarchies will have NOTHING to do with a population of free people, nothing.
