William Shatner: "Not a lot seems to have changed" since the first airing of his Star Trek series

William Shatner @WilliamShatner
During the first airing of my Star Trek series where a kiss was objectionable; many southern stations pulled the episode & condemned the show. Using today’s vernacular it would absolutely be called“woke DEI crap”because it went against “norms” of society for its time. Not a lot seems to have changed.

about more than just The Kiss. All sorts of wokeness went on. But as a society, we aspired to it, or mostly, but now the loudest among us object to it.

Some idiot asked him what he thought of the new ‘woke’ Star Trek series. And of course everyone replied, Star Trek was woke since day one
