From the looks of the monitors, we're taking a direct blow from a coronal mass ejection. Blew out some the monitoring equipment it appears.

This is just electromagnetic waves of some low frequency, so even people should be safe.

With lots of tinfoil.

Hope for the best. I'll post if I find out anything appropriate.

the degree depending mainly on how well the capsule attenuates (shields) the level. I expect they may orient the capsule so that the bulk of it is between the living compartment and the sun.
