It was an under-rated show.

Around 2008 or so, I somehow got hold of his home address in L.A. I got it online somewhere. Not sure if it was real, I sent a note to that address - on a lark - requesting a couple of autographed photos, one for myself and one for a high school friend of mine who was also a Rockford groupie.

Not even 2 weeks later, I got those photos in the mail! Two, 8x10 glossy Jim Garner headshots with autographs on them. It strengthned my fandom of the guy. I was sad when he passed, but 86 ain't bad when you consider the injuries he suffered throughout his career.
