I fast forwarded through two hours of programming this morning (The Situation Room) and they did not mention it once. They spent the entire time sanewashing trump's blockade of the strait, jaydee's total failure in Iran, his insults to the Pope, and of course, Swalwell's resignation. Of course they are giving much more coverage to the Swalwell scandal than they did to Gonzalez.
Boo. Hiss. The Orban defeat is an important, serious news story. Not only will CNN not criticize jaydee's role in it, they didn't even mention it.

(176 posts)Are you a masochist? I literally can't stand CNN for more than a couple of seconds.
To be fair, they are covering the Orban defeat on cnn.com, but below "the fold" .. and easy to miss.

(887 posts)Now that CNN is owned and run by Paramount, who bought CBS recently and put Bari Weiss in charge of its news division, we're going to see some major changes in its coverage priorities. Obviously attacks on Democrats will be more prominent and stories that expose the problems of Orban/Trump-style authoritarianism and hint at how to defeat it will be backpaged.
