Rachael Maddox's segment tonight on the surprise visits the House reps made to detention centers

Was sickening. Newly elected Adelina Grijalva from Arizona visited an unannounced site and was horrified and reported to Rachael what she discovered. Rachael was visibly moved as was I and just plain pissed. Rep Grijalva speaks Spanish so she was able to converse with some women held in detention. The point she left us with was follow the money as these prisons are privately owned and the occupancy numbers are relative to the profits being made for a few owners that own more than one hellhole. 🤬

The higher the occupancy, the bigger the profit and if there’s only one toilet for 40 people, too bad.if there’s only have to stand because there are too many to sit on the floor and no beds for anyone. There are no hygiene products for the women, the food is not edible. This is only a peek inside one massive building housing humans..our former neighbors, local store owners, teachers, construction workers, landscapers. This makes me sick..literally sick and mad as hell. We cannot forget about these people just because they’re out of sight
