Maybe we need some kind of "Boy who Cried 'Wolf' " law that says after you lose 5 lawsuits, the courts should begin with the presumption that any further suits are malicious and baseless.. In other words, in other words put a greater burden on serial suit-filers to prove their suit is not malicious before the defendant has to spend any money or time on it.

The author of that book said that others had the count at 4000. Some suits were settled usually with a non-disclosure provision.

Obviously threatening to sue is his go-to move.

His litigiousness has cost taxpayers something like $40,000,000, and Trump never paid a penny of that cost.

* Courthouse usage
* Judge salary
* Courtroom staff (bailiffs etc)
* Judges' interns to research and write judgments
* City, state or federal attorneys if Trump was suing a government agency
* etc

The guy has always been a freeloader.

And the above does not include the cost of justice delayed or denied common people because Trump has been plugging up the courts.
