They need to tell Mr Trump that it is time for him to resign. There is no need for the country to go thru another impeachment, but that will surely happen if he continues to cling to power. He is obviously not equipped to do the job and there is little use in pretending otherwise.

He has our country and our economy in a mess. We are stuck in a war from which there is no easy exit, due to the whims of one single person, Donald J Trump. There are no miracles awaiting. He should resign immediately.

Otherwise, the price that will be due in November will be more than the Republicans are willing to pay.
The people have had enough of this insanity.

He never admits he's wrong; never admits a mistake; never says he's sorry.
Money, power, and control are the things he lives for, that and the praise of his adoring MAGAT base.
Nothing else matters to him.
To get Trump out, the republicans would have to throw him out, and, in the immortal words of Dirty Harry, "that's not gonna happen".
