Krasnov fired Chief of Staff of the Army, General Randy George because he told Krasnov, and Whiskey Pete, that any attempt to secure Iran's uranium was foolhardy. It appears that General George was right, so Krasnov fired another competent general most likely replaced by a yes man.
There is overwhelming evidence that the US failed in a mission to secure Iran's uranium. (see link provided)
The fog of war is more dense when Krasnov and Hogsbreath lie to us.

(14,851 posts)we have no name...no update...just dropped after the movie version of victory...since it was a failed mission.
If there was a second pilot, was he captured?

Krasnov eliminated the Pentagon press corps. I have heard no one ask this administration about the failed uranium extraction raid.
We lost millions of dollars in aircraft, hopefully we didn't lose any troops.

(6,380 posts)I posted on here it was Orwellian because everything was so vague. It was unlike Trump not to want to parade him around. I get he was supposedly hurt, but again, Trump being Trump, there would have been pictures of the downed pilot thanking Trump for his rescue.

(4,672 posts)just assumed that the rear seater was a top level ops officer, Colonel or Brig General who was in direct charge of the entire air operation, and they didn't want him captured, for obvious reasons.
I would put nothing past these lying fucks, though, and if they fucked up a special ops mission and are spinning it as a dramatic Entebbe level mission, sounds plausible.

(32,470 posts)I know exactly what type of organization India-Today is. As a matter of fact, this is the first time I have even clicked on it.
The fact that India - Today reported this makes it all the more believable to me.
75% of the links that people do here are right wing, it is one of my pet peeves.
Feel free to alert on me for citing a right wing news source but the narrative it portrays certainly isn't right wing.
Did you even read what the article said?

(32,470 posts)The amount of aircraft involved in a rescue mission is extremely not normal and certainly wasn't a made up internet conspiracy theory. There is enough evidence out there that common sense would tell me that this was more than a rescue mission.
One of the reasons that General Randy George was fired was because he said that a mission to secure Iran's uranium was foolhardy.
I doubt that Krasnov or Whiskey Pete would ever go public about a failed mission.
Without a viable Pentagon press corps we are in the dark.

(24,644 posts)That's plenty of aircraft to extract an aircrew.
Coincidentally, they could safely extract more than a few tons of uranium.

(17,642 posts)Look, if there had been a second pilot rescued during a valiant attempt on Easter, no less, then don't you think Trump would be parading that person around like the Door Dash Grannie so that he could get his proper praise?

(305 posts)Has anyone seen or heard from this pilot who was reportedly rescued?
You would think they would put him or his family on tv to crow about how wonderful the pedo-in-chief is.
To my knowledge nothing close to that has happened.
There was way too much equipment and manpower brought in to rescue one pilot.
We reportedly blew up our 2 AC130 airplanes valued at 100 million a plane along with 2 helicopters and I think they would parade
this heroic pilot out to thank everyone. Or at least tell us how he is doing.
Did we really rescue the pilot?
I am not sure.
