Tom Nichols of The Atlantic joins Jim Acosta with a warning the mainstream media won't touch. And DonOLD is also full of it when he talks about California’s gas tax, which hasn’t been raised in years and is .70 cents (when you combine the fees), which goes to support maintenance and public transit. So taking 70 cents or even a dollar off, that does NOT explain the normally high prices, especially when we have oil production AND refineries here. And it certainly doesn’t explain the nearly $3 per gallon jump we have had since the useful idiot invaded Iran and didn’t think about the global economic consequences.

American media DO YOU JOB and ask follow up questions on his blatant snake oil peddling and gas lighting LIES. Most of you got into this field because you wanted to speak truth to power. Just start speaking it.

15. Much of the traditional American Media has become nut-less wonders over the years.

I mean what % of Americans know that Donald Trump had to go to Military School in order to
avoid having to go to a juvenile detention program after he put a much smaller student in the
hospital from a beating, tried to throw a teacher out a window, flunked out of Fordham, and that
he has a lifetime of being a no good shit. An electrician I know did some work in the NYC area
in the 80 & 90s and one of his clients was an Italian Businessman’s organization* and when he first
started working in the area members of the mafia told him never to do anything for Trump or any
of his businesses because he was a crook. If we had an honest media Trump would never have
gotten close to the White House. Trump learned his craft from Roy Cohn and that was to lie all the
time, do not pay your bills, and never admit a mistake.

* He was sent to club/restaurant in N.J. to do some work and they liked him and treated him well
and kept asking him back and after he found out who his customers were he decided that saying
no to them wasn’t a good idea. As per what they did he told me that sometimes not knowing “stuff”
was fine by him. True story.

16. The most pathetic part of what you posted

is that you didn't have to be a super-sleuth to learn it. All of this information about Trump, including his mob ties, has been readily available for nearly 50 years. It wasn't hidden. It is why he is so hated in New York City. They saw him the most, got to know him best.

Traditionally, the press would have reminded the voting public of these things when he first started running for office. His political opponents would have likewise made hay with it starting in the primaries.

I think one of the biggest differences has been in the gullibility of the voting public. They were so eager to believe he was the character on his TV show. Just like Lonesome Rhodes.

5. I call BS on the media's silence 'because diagnosis'.

Diagnosis is stating a cause. You literally can't do that without a personal face-to-face exam, usually with actual tests involved.

However, you can say all over the place that "This is not normal. This is wrong. I don't know exactly what's going on here or why, but we need to find out and, in the meantime, keep it from having disastrous consequences.

That's too many words. But the media can and should scream from the rooftops daily "Look at this, this is happening, this is wrong, this is not normal.

It use to exist at one point, where a group of top Military and Intelligence were instantaneously brought into play if he pushed the football's button. They all had to agree, and then forward the order to launch command. Not sure that level of protection exists anymore..........
