What if Trump invades Cuba and then declares them our 51st State?
Would Cubans respond with gratitude and deliver 2 more US Senators to the Republican Party?
Assuming, Congress would have to vote on this....How should Democrats play this scenario? Support a Cuban referendum and vote No?

Just throwing out the government and putting in their own puppet regime (with Lil Marco in charge) seems the most likely as then you've got a full blown "country" to commit your financial crimes in just 90 miles offshore and untouchable by the Government. Offshore shell games on steroids. And they may want to use US Cuban exiles as pawns to reclaim coastal lands and then big real estate developers could toss everyone aside and build a Billionaire Beach haven. I mean, thats what it used to be under the Batista's ruthless regime before Fidel. It was the money laundering uber wealthy playground capitol of the Western Hemisphere at the Cuban peoples expense. There's a reason Fidel and Che didn't need much of an army to take it over. Also, many of those who ran and established themselves in S Florida where complicit in oppressing their fellow Cubans and would gladly fall for a reparations scam that would burn them in the end. Real Estate developers are the biggest evil entities throughout history IMO.
Of course, it's all speculation, no pun intended
