Does anyone really know what is going on in the "concentration" camps..?

In New Jersey, the Governor was denied entrance to one of the camps. At the same camp, a US Senator was pepper-sprayed when he tried to enter the place. Does anyone know what is going on behind these barbed enclosures?

Is it possible that someday, like at the end of WWII, someone will open the gates and everyone will be horrified at what we see? Is it possible?

This cannot stand. We must demand to know what is happening in our names.

This whole thing is done in secrecy. Government police in hoods, camps without access. Has Red Cross been involved? Not that I've heard.

...as if it doesn't matter. They are accomplices and should stand before a tribunal for their part.

The Russians would throw a steak in a ring and watch the prisoners fight for it. I'm sure there was worse things he didn't tell me.

Grandma would only say is that not many made it out alive. There was one guard that would occasionally sneak him a little extra food. He was still only 70 pounds when he was freed. In the early fifties they emigrated to this country with the help of a sponsor. They loved this country so much and would've hated seeing this.

NEWARK - Governor Mikie Sherrill released the following statement after visiting Delaney Hall. She is the first sitting Governor to visit the facility.

"My request for access to Delaney Hall was formally denied this morning, raising serious questions about what they are trying to hide from public view.

"I have long opposed private detention facilities and will continue to advocate for the closure of Delaney Hall and against any expansion of mass detention facilities in New Jersey, like the proposed facility in Roxbury.

"I came today to hear from families and advocates, and what I heard from them was heartbreaking.

"I will continue to hold ICE accountable, and I remain grateful for the work of our federal delegation, including Senator Kim and Representatives Menendez, Pou, McIver, and Mejia, who joined me today. They have been tireless in using their federal oversight authority to bring accountability to the facility. I will continue working closely with them to demand answers, protect constitutional rights, and ensure humane conditions.

"The people inside Delaney Hall are fathers and mothers, sons and daughters, and members of our community. In New Jersey, we believe in the rule of law and that everyone deserves to be treated with basic dignity. We have a duty to safeguard the rights, health, and well-being of everyone within our borders."
