So are these some of the bronze statues on Lincoln Memorial Circle that Trump wants to cover in gold?

He really is nucking futz. Or am I nucking futz? Can somebody take the car keys from Grandpa?
Or is the another attempt to divert attention from EPSTEIN?

“Looking northwest at the two statues that make up the work The Arts of Peace. The Arts of Peace are statues which adorn either side of the northeastern end of Arlington Memorial Bridge in Washington, D.C., in the United States. They were designed by sculptor Leo Friedlander, and erected in 1951. "Music and Harvest" is the left, and "Aspiration and Literature" is to the right.” Wikimedia commons.

4. Look @ the Oval Office and that piece of exquisite marble around the fireplace.

Simple, tasteful, and classy. It needed nothing just the marble alone was perfect.

Now look @ it after President (thanks to Putin, Musk, Thiel, Eaton Corp., and computers) Fucknutz
did to it. He had them drill into the marble and hang garish tacky shit on it, put some more garish
tacky gold crap in the hearth (design tip you know what looks timeless and good in a fireplace?
Firewood.) I think those are his golf trophies that he “won” playing his own golf courses on
the mantle and all that other gold crap around the Oval Office too. We are living in a very bad dream.
He is insane. BTW those are NATO people in the Oval Office and the woman on the couch looks
she wants to get out of that there asap because she knows he crazy.

A silly place to take a stand. The 250th is coming up so the surface gets restored. These series and all our monuments need to be in the budget for maintenance every 20 years. We shouldn’t let our monuments get so run down.

“ The Music and Harvest statue figures (along with its sister statue, Aspiration and Literature) are constructed of bronze that is fire-gilded and coated with approximately 100 pounds of 24-karat gold. Together, these statues and their counterparts are known as The Arts of Peace. “

Statues that represent the US when they are already gold clad….just worn out. I don’t want all of our monuments etc looking like crap when we have an anniversary coming up. Budget it for every admin.

The statues need a good cleaning but not some tacky ass gold crap, the BRONZE can be worked with,
and the concrete piers do need replaced because age, acid rain, and road salt has done a job on them. However Trump has the zero taste and should have zero to do with their maintenance. BTW I am real
life expert in this stuff and I forget more about this than you would know in a thousand years however

Correction: the piers the statues are on are marble. Just power wash them, repair any cracks,
and clean the bronze.

Donald Trump and his team haven’t exactly been subtle about their gold fixation. Since the president returned to power, Americans have seen an emphasis on everything from “Gold Cards” to a “Golden Dome” to a “Golden Fleet” of U.S. battleships. (And don’t get me started on the many gold trinkets Trump plastered on the walls of the Oval Office.)

So perhaps it’s not too surprising that the Republican’s administration is also adding gold coats to the White House’s aggressive renovation agenda for the nation’s capital. NOTUS reported:

Four massive bronze horses positioned along the roads surrounding the Lincoln Memorial still shine in the sun from their first restoration in the 1970s. But their gold-toned coating is faded and patchy, and their heavy stone bases are cracked and dirty.

The Trump administration wants them glittering with a fresh coat of gold in time for America’s 250th anniversary on July 4. So in mid-April, the National Park Service handed a $5 million contract to a gilding studio in Maryland to repair the statues and cover them with a thick layer of 23.75-karat gold leaf
.

.....It comes against a backdrop of a president focused on his ballroom vanity project, the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, the installation of a White House helipad, the construction of a massive “triumphal arch” near Arlington National Cemetery, renovating the White House Treaty Room and the Kennedy Center, his plans for a “statue garden,” his sudden interest in fountains around the nation’s capital and a dozen or so additional renovation projects he’s prioritized in and around the White House complex.

A recent Fox News poll asked respondents, “Do you think Donald Trump cares about people like you, or not?” Only 37% of Americans said they believe the president does in fact care about people like them.

There’s no reason to assume that number can’t sink lower.
