2. It'll be a minute if anything's close

I think most of the polls I saw in the past week had Steyer/Hilton hovering around each other. Becerra's most likely in.

We'll see. So many people waited until the last minute. There might be some movement polls didn't/couldn't capture in the last hours. If that is the case, we might get totals tonight and over the next day or two that suddenly shift by Thursday or so.

The other race I'm super interested in is Pelosi's seat. Please god, let Wiener and Chan be the two candidates. I would like to stop hearing about the other guy now.

5. Besides the big races, I'm curious about District 41, Ken Calvert-R's

old district and District 40 where he is running now against incumbent Young Kim-R.

This will be a test of the redistricting maps.

District 41 is now supposedly solid D, which is why Calvert moved over to District 40 which is solid Republican with Young Lee incumbent. Those two R’s are running a nasty race about loyalty tests to Trump. It’s anticipated one of those two big names will win and keep the district Republican.

So if District 41 goes Democratic, that’s a lost Republican district. Yay!

too long, so to have him boxed out of his old district is a big win for the redistricting efforts.

Many Democrats held off voting until this weekend or today so a lot of the mail-in ballots received through the mail or drooped off at poling sites won't be processed for a couple of days.

Whatever the outcome, I thin we can rest assured there will be at least one Democrat in the general election.

People who are in line at a voting center at 8PM when the polls close can still vote. I think it's irresponsible for nes outlets to start calling races this soon.
