Why I never worried about Biden's health.

He had a competent and working Federal Government and serious Cabinet choices.

The clown show Trump has assembled would put P.T. Barnum to shame.

Voters don’t want to constantly look to the past. We need to move the country forward.

While you may not have worried about Biden’s health, his wife does. She just said she didn’t think he could have managed a second term. He does have late stage cancer.

Your point about his having competent cabinet choices is, however, sound.

if his health had significantly worsened, the VP either taking on part of the workload or taking over completely via a peceful and lawful transfer of power.

That's why I was annoyed beyond belief when the fools at the top pushed Biden out at the last minuute, leaving Harris too little time to campaign. I didn't expect Biden's health to hold up for another 4 years but that isn't a problem. It's why we have Vice Presidents.

There was a chance he would not be able to finish his second term. But we would have had a competent replacement, so I had no worries.

Yes, he had advisors and competent ministers...

But part of why he was not winning that election was because he was perceived as ill, while Trump was not. They gave Trump a pass.

Doesn't change the Stage IV cancer.

Biden was not diagnosed with prostate cancer until May 2025, long after the election. That was not a factor in the election. The concern at the time was Biden’s mental acuity after the disastrous debate (ironic, given Trump’s obvious longstanding mental health issues). Biden may have been perceived as physically ill at the time of the election, but that was largely a creation of the biased media.

Rapidly growing cancer can easily influence mental state.

The public was not aware of Biden’s illness. Even Biden was not aware of his illness. And prostate cancer - even metastatic prostate cancer - does not affect one’s mental state - unless it progresses to the brain or some other vital organ, which it usually doesn’t until the end.

Biden’s cancer had progressed to the bone, which is typical of stage four PC. That can certainly be painful, but it doesn’t generally affect mental acuity. Ironically, the treatment for stage four PC (essentially, chemical castration through various drugs) can affect mental health. My husband kept complaining of ‘brain fog’ during treatment. We recently found out that he has a high level of tau in his blood. I’m convinced that the relatively recently discovered miraculous life saving drugs are the cause.

he ate McCarthy's lunch in budget negotiations, and then ate Johnson's lunch on the debt ceiling. Corporate media forgot to mention that.
