Towelie, and now by 2naSalit, and also listen to Anna From Ukraine daily. Not being moscow-centric as so much reporting in this country is, they paint an even grimmer (for ruzzia, at least) picture of just how badly putler's "three-day special military operation is going. The battlefield is a nightmare, and the ruzzian economy and civil society are tanking as the consequences of their war are being felt at home in ruzzia, as they damned well should be.

(editorial note to daily kos: there is no apostrophe in the possessive form of "its" )

Simple assessment is after four years for Russia having occupied so little of the Ukraine and the vast majority of those gains coming at the initial stages, its an epic fail.

But, increasingly it seems Ukraine is pushing back more significantly and Russia is even weaker.

Its hard for me to get away from the sense that Putin is possibly in a bit of trouble.

'Just gonna take a couple of days.'

'Natives will welcome us as liberators, smile and throw flowers our way.'

The presumed moral and military superiority in both instances didn't turn out well.
