CBS. You know how a Venture Capitol Fund buys the name of a once prestigious company

And then makes shit products and slaps the name on?
That is CBS News. It is only the once venerable news organization in name only.

It has no more in common with Walter Cronkite than the crap products from "Bell and Howell" sold on late night and cable channels has with the Bell and Howell that made great quality products.

the role of the fourth estate in our democracy or freedom of the press, he doesn't care if they lose all their audience, and he certainly doesn't care if he loses money. Ellison (and all the other corporate owners of mass media) is willing to take the loss because he knows all his other business interests will benefit greatly when independent truth tellers like CBS are neutered.
