(2,232 posts)I admit I was skeptical of denominating a guy who lost previously in a state that's been going more and more red. Hopefully he proves my skepticism wrong.

(2,232 posts)My theory was that the voters had previously rejected him and wouldn't be so quick to change their mind. Not the first time I've been wrong, I doubt it will be the last.

(38,194 posts)Similarly, a Facebook user posted, "BREAKING: Senator Jon Husted (R-OH) took over $100,000 from Epstein co-conspirator Les Wexner, accepting "donations" months before voting to block the Epstein Files."
Mostly True.

(7,031 posts)I am in SE Michigan. The poll that showed all the major Senate races on FB had Husted ahead. I kept asking what was wrong with Ohio? His is one of the races I give to regularly. Would so love to see Brown back in the Senate!

Despite being done for FOX, the pollster, Beacon Research/Shaw & Company Research does qualify as an NYTimes selected pollster, so can perhaps be considered relatively reliable.
If you can, pitch in a few dollars for both candidates and help sweep the statewide offices!!
