James Talarico: on what makes a real man

There’s been a lot of talk in this race about what makes a "real man."

A man does what’s right when no one is watching. He upholds his commitments to his family and neighbors. He doesn’t lie, cheat, & steal his way through life.

Real men serve others. Weak men serve themselves.

He is that rare candidate that combines a sharp intellect with an unapologetic display of his faith. He has the potential to change the dynamics of politics in Texas and nationwide. I love that he calls out all of the corruption we are seeing. He reminds me a little of that once unknown young man from Chicago that ran and won a US Senate seat in 2005 and later became a US President. Talarico inspires hope. No wonder the Republican machine in Texas is so worried about him. He can, and I believe will, prevail in Texas in November.
