The Disrupters' Timing Is Impeccable!

I noticed that the weekend news on TV is covering Platner thoroughly. All of the "scandals" are being aired. Whoever started this campaign to disrupt the Senate Primary in Maine has used long experience to time the airing of this shit precisely right.
Why? Losing Susan Collins' Senate seat would be very bad for the Republicans right now. So, they've planned exactly how to stuff up the Democratic primary vote and interfere with the election. They're very good at that stuff, it seems. They've even got DU fighting over tattoos and ancient emails and social media posts.
It's a well-oiled machine, the Republican disruption machine. And it's working perfectly right now. The big news this weekend is the Platner scandal.
It shouldn't even be news outside of Maine, but it's a huge national story at this point.
Don't be taken in. I say that, but everyone has already been taken in.
Shit! They've done it again. It was going to be a close race in Maine. I'm not sure it's going to be such a close race any longer. We may well get Susan Collins back in the Senate, whining and pretending once again to be "considering" things.
The disrupters are winning again. We are so screwed!
