My younger daughter, the one based in Frankfurt, had something to do in Monaco. Its no big deal to get there for hera one hour flight to Nice, and then a 25 minute taxi ride. After work was completed, the whole group had booked a table for dinner at some fancy restaurant. Dont ask me which, Ive never been to Monaco.
Things were going fine until one of Trumps sons walked in. My daughters group considered their three options: puking, getting up and leaving, or holding it in and saying nothing. They opted for Door Number Three, but Im not sure the vote was unanimous. I guess the food must have been pretty good.

(60,699 posts)They would panic if they got no icy stares. That would (or should!) indicate to them that their presence surprised no one, which means they were probably expected, and by people who wished them ill.

(5,183 posts)near Lincoln Center once, and a large rat showed up outside the window we were sitting in front of, eating what appeared to be a tangerine. When the waiter brought our meal, we pointed it out to him. He said, "rats are everywhere around here, you get used to them."
Same must be true in Monaco, I guess...
