Senator Sanders: The flood of billionaire money that will come against Graham Platner is no accident.

Whether it is AI, AIPAC or crypto, billionaire-funded super PACs will spend hundreds of millions to defeat candidates who stand with working people and challenge their power.

And so .. ? Yes, no accident. And, yes - also no surprise !
But - - Thanks, Bernie!

(the real calculus here - is usually whether a seat appears possible for either picking up, or defending.)
(and the Collins seat ... ?)

30 years of Dem candidates campaigning against Collins, and you'd never know it

Collins needs to be called out for her misleading way of being "concerned" about things, and then voting the straight Republican line.

Fight her, not Platner. Point out her wishy-washy flaws not his covered-up tattoo. Go after her hard. She can lose. She should lose. Let's make her lose.

Collins was almost invariably a very safe seat. Collins was also - guessed it! - solidly Republican!

So ..... The math .. ?

is an absolute no brainer.
(And I still think we have a half decent shot - particularly if Platner continues to acquit himself well. Off to a good start there. Yes?)

Platner and Talarico are the two races Republicans believe will be most easy to win. It will take an extra effort for them to win.

They are coming for Jon Ossoff in Georgia, trying to flip Michigan and NH, desperately hoping to hold shaky Republican seats in Alaska, North Carolina. They will toss money at any race they think will keep them in the majority, and then if they lose by a narrow margin, they will try to buy what they couldn't win---not in one state, but in ALL of them. When he comes out for Ossoff, Pappas, Cooper, Turek and Peltola, then I'll sit up and notice. The flood of Republican money will be pouring out to oppose all of them. Maybe we can't match the money, but if we more than make up for it in getting out the Democratic votes, we can teach them that sometimes money walks down the road right along with their losers that couldn't convince the voting population any more than their tired slogans could. You can only shout "libbruls!" so often before people start to ask, "is that all you got?"

Platner is new and just swept away the primary by a large percentage; he will continue to be a target.

Sanders helps a lot of politicians, as far as I am aware, and I am sure he will continue to help where he can.
