I think they should impeach Trump (even though there will not be enough votes in the Senate to convict).
BUT, they should be politically savvy about what the charges should be. There are multiple infractions by Trump, any one would lead to impeachment in a normal America, but they should look at which one would resonate the most with the American people. Not the most egregious or biggest crime, but the one that an impeachment trial would show him in the worst possible way.
Maybe Epstein, maybe treason, maybe gross corruption, but pick the one with the most impact and makes the GOP look terrible defending him.

10. You wouldn't want to increase the Supreme Court without a Democrat in the White House

We'd have to hold the seats open for 2 years and that would be fodder for Republicans who have historically been much more invested in getting their judges on the court.

Likewise getting rid of the filibuster doesn't have much immediate impact while Trump can veto things.

If Dems can get control of the US Senate number one is to block any and all judicial appointments.

Otherwise I would conduct countless investigations and the trump crime family and any associate considering a run for president in 2028.

What they should do, and I have zero faith that they will because it would make too much sense, is pass a ton of extremely progressive legislation with real teeth and let the Republicans filibuster it or have Piss veto it if it somehow got through and then run on those things in ‘28.

Pass universal healthcare through the House. Pass student loan forgiveness. Pass guaranteed living necessities for everyone. And trumpet those things far and wide. Condemn the republicans at every turn for being against working people. Really be a working class party and they’ll clean up in ‘28.
