Only in America?
Where you can lie, steal, cheat and be a college sports player bet on your team and sport then get away with it!
I know this more a sports topic, but its more than just sports! Its about what is wrong with facing consequences of your actions.
Everything from politics to sports and society, if youre an elite? You can get away with some degree of accountability.
What Im talking about is Texas Tech quarterback Sorsby who transferred from Cincinnati for his final year of eligibility. He made 9,000 bets and spent over $90 thousand on games including his own team when he was at Indiana.
The NCAA suspended him for the season, but a local judge in Texas ruled that Sorsby could play after settling out the first 2 games.
Now, my opinion does not really matter, but he should not play again.
Its not the betting, rather the trust that he has lost with other players on the team and schools reputation.
But than again, there is no trust in power and no loyalty whatsoever to our society.
That means we will never be able to trust anyone again for the most part.
Cheating is rampant and not just in sports, but than there is one person who bragged about cheating people out of their hard earned money.
So, where is the line between right and rich?
