(131,689 posts)They probably fixed the letters to the wall by pounding in some sort of bolts but now they have to undo them without cracking or damaging the wall. I don't know what the wall is made of, looks like some kind of stone tiles that will crack if they just pull the letters off, so they'll have to stand on the scaffolding and remove them carefully then patch the holes. I'm just guessing, but like everything else Trump does, it's harder to repair the damage than it was to do it in the first place.

(782 posts)When those letters were put up there it was expected by the installers to be permanent. They have to take them off and patch the holes. I don't think that would be easy.
