Jacob has always been a smart and genuine reporter. He has now brought those qualities to the anchor chair. He just finished his first episode of Connect with Jacob Soboroff on MSNOW. Jacob is so comfortable in the role - he glides smoothly through the communicating and transitioning of live television. He is an excellent choice to cover a three hour block, after the reassignment of Ali Velshi.
He ended it with a fabulous interview with Mariana Van Zeller, an intrepid journalist, who currently works for National Geographic. She covers some scary stuff in the world of trafficking. She has won a Peabody Award and several Emmys. The conversation was informative and serious, and warmed by the fact they are friends as well as colleagues.
