(65,977 posts)2. The pool was originally built in 1923 and was never designed to be driven onto, but to hold water
from 1.5 to 2.5 feet deep basically a giant wading pool.
As a side note, the average weight of an automobile in the 1920s during the Model T era was 1,200 to 3000 lbs.
It's almost as if they were trying to sabotage this renovation on purpose.
