I'm reading various news articles online and it's so damn annoying that most sources paint articles about Democrats in a

negative light.

Meanwhile the con artist is underwater in his ratings, his policies and positions are undewater, the economy is bad, food, housing and gas are too high, people are going without healthcare, children have lost food assistance and he's obsessing over the reflecting pool and his fair.

The news sources say the MAGA party will attack Democrats on socialism, immigration and Israel's war on Gaza. ICE is not popular. It's very unpopular. ICE has killed people in the street. Netanyahu's war in very unpopular. Netanyahu is probably going to be out of power in the fall. And they've been calling all Democrats socialist my entire life.

All Democratic candidates, whether they align with DSA or are more moderate in their beliefs have been running on kitchen table issues and affordability. MAGA is still running on bullshit, fear and bigotry.

It would be nice if the media would cover these realities with honest journalism. Who do they think they're kidding.

Republicans are the ones who are worried about the midterms. And they should be. They are inept, out of touch and ridiculous. And the people are not happy with them.

Turn that rage into letters to the editor and comments in feeds. Call bullshit on their "leftist" label for things that are in the absolute center of our politics and represent a throughline across the history of our liberal democracy.

3. It's time to take these words back.

If a magat u.s. hater calls you liberal or leftist or whatever, look 'em dead in the eye, give them an evil grin and say "Smile when you call me that". Or perhaps more politely, smile and say "And proud of it!"
Just like the protesters in Portland took back the frog, we need to start taking these words back.
