I somewhat know the area and have lived in other rural areas - and know that it can be a long time before emergency services can arrive after a call is made. it still seems like a big gap of time
But I don’t know all factors involved
I’m just feeling sad for all those involved

Purdy isn't THAT rural - but Pierce County is huge and there is a giant traffic-choked bridge between Tacoma and Purdy.

Here's another report, from King 5

A 32 year old man stabbed his Mother and her neighbors. He was psychotic.

I'm not going to put this on the Sheriff's slow response. The Mom and the 2 neighbors were probably dead within minutes, maybe before the 1st 911 call.

Thanks for the link.
That one actually says the first 911 call came at 9:30am so for that the officer was minutes later.
