Justin Sun, among the largest investors in the Trump familys primary crypto company, claims the company is misleading investors. Its the most prominent instance yet of a crypto insider aligned with President Donald Trump calling out his familys crypto dealings, which Democrats have said benefit from the presidents authority.
Sunday on X, Sun, a billionaire who is among the most recognizable figures in the crypto industry, accused the Trump group, World Liberty Financial, of setting up a system that grants company officials unilateral power over user accounts. That includes the ability to freeze them.
Sun alleges that his account has been subject to a freeze since September and that he has not been able to sell his holdings. According to analysis by the blockchain tracking group Bubblemaps, the value of the holdings Sun has allegedly been unable to move has declined by more than $80 million, to about $43 million. Sun has said he spent at least $75 million on World Liberty tokens, at one point becoming its largest investor.
I have always been an ardent supporter of President Trump and his crypto friendly policy, Sun wrote. However, he said, this is the opposite of decentralization. This is a trap door marketed as an open door. I denounce the ongoing token scandals by the bad actors at WLFI..................

(665 posts)What more do people need to realize about the entire Trump organization.
They are absolutely corrupt down to their bone marrow and everyone knows it!
Every cell in their body is skewed towards obtaining the quick easy buck as they are all loathe to put in much effort or work to gain wealth with even a remotely honest effort.
There is no one on earth they would not endeavor to swindle.
At least it was a billionaire they cheated!

(4,618 posts)His account has been frozen since September. Has he been sounding the alarm since then and we're just hearing about it? Or has he just been quiet until everyone else turns on the miserable hump.
A dam has cracked in magaland. Some of its loser residents are fatigued by supporting policies that are ruining them and are speaking out. This is giving license to other idiots to point out abuses and usurpations. There will still be a shell of maga left, but we're seeing a coalition dissolution in real time.
