I have been leaning toward Steyer. At this point, his not being a typical politician is a plus. There's no telling how the Swalwell fiasco is going to end up tarnishing the other candidates in the race who had a relationship with him. They're going to start distancing themselves, and that may only serve to highlight their relationship. Guilt by association is a real thing. Theres already reporting that Swalwells behavior was a discussion in the DC whisper ecosphere. Who knew about it when?

(55,293 posts)it turns out my liberal family is also interested in supporting Steyer too. I liked him when he was running before and I still like him. He is a genuine politician and his opinions have remained unchanged. He backs what he says and is not a hypocrite (so far anyway).
My brother in law thinks his error was running as a Dem and not a Progressive.
