NMSP: 3 dead, 25 exposed to 'unknown substance' at Mountainair home

Paramedics and sheriffs deputies responded to a home on Hanlon Avenue and Pinon Street, regarding a call made around 8 a.m. about a possible overdose on an unknown substance.
First responders found one person dead outside of the home, one dead inside and two other people who needed resuscitation. One of those two people later died at the ER.

(730 posts)Twice in the last few years I've had to stop someone from mixing bleach into windex. Their plan in both cases was to use it to clean a glass stovetop.

It's a component in pesticides. Perhaps the initial patients were farmworkers?
