Hershey Entertainment and Resorts, chocolate workers union agree to deal

HERSHEY, Pa. —
Hershey Entertainment and Resorts and the Chocolate Workers union have reached a deal, averting a potential strike.

Chocolate Workers Local 464 voted to approve a deal that was reached by negotiators earlier this week. The union has employees who work at Hersheypark and Giant Center.

Hershey Entertainment and Resorts released the following statement Friday afternoon:

"At this time, we are pleased to share that Local 464 union members at Hersheypark and GIANT Center have voted to ratify 5-year agreements with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts.
