... bother to turn around to see it ? Has anyone like The Simpsons, Family Guy, etc. ever had a scene like that where the guy who won't turn around gets (a) smacked in the head by flying debris; (b) skewered by a flying pole; (c) crushed under a massive block of concrete, steel, etc.; (d) decapitated by flying plate glass; or (e) split down the middle, etc. ?

It's something so overdue for parody, but I've never seen it parodied in that way.

Hermes is walking away from an exploding building and Bender comments how Hermes "isn't even turning around to look at that cool explosion."

3. Ha ! Good Ol' Bender ! It does make fun of how silly the cliche is. No experienced soldier would ever make the mistake

of not watching for debris, after a quick heads-down.

The more you're around explosives, the less you take them for granted.
