Anyone have ideas about the best places to go to find work online? Or to just find jobs that pay

well? This is for a friend who has a high school education and who has 2 adult children whom she "rescues" and thus who she has given too much money to.

She has stayed with me 2 times because she had become homeless. I could not figure out how she could end up this way because she literally does not drink or do drugs. But the last time I found out how she gives money to her kids so much and now she has 5 little grandkids that she spends money on.

I don't know how much she makes but I think it is less than 25K. She finally got another apartment but she had to get one with 2 or 3 bedrooms because Child Services got involved and told her it had to be that way since she takes a couple grandkids every weekend.

Since I have had back surgery and been laid up for almost a month I have just let he drive my car but she also runs a lot of errands for me and has been very helpful

I am asking this now because I finally have my car back and I feel bad knowing that she either has to pay for Ubers or use the bus. So I thought if I could help her get an extra job, (like remote work etc) she could help herself get out of the mess she is in.

But I've got to tell you, there are very few real jobs out there. Lots of ai bs sucking up info, but few jobs.

I know people with bachelors degees in IT & work experience hoping for a job at Walmart or in an Amazon warehouse because there literally are no jobs to be had.

Sorry to be a bummer. 😓

I think her best bet might be to make Linked In profile & start networking.

I hope that helps & I hope you are now fully recovered.

Costco because I heard they were a great company to work for and she said she needed Saturdays off because of her grandkids. I wonder if it has something to do with not wanting to work directly with the public (?)
